#DesafioAlacero2026

For the 2026 edition, Alacero invites all member countries of the association to participate in the #DesafíoAlacero. The local organization in each country will invite architecture schools and universities to take part in the competition.

Students will be asked to develop a steel architecture project that contributes to achieving Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 9 – Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure, promoting solutions that integrate innovation, sustainability and the efficient use of steel in construction.

All winning preliminary projects from each participating country will compete in the regional stage, which will take place in Mexico, within the framework of the Alacero Summit 2026.
