ESG IN THE STEEL INDUSTRY

Alacero and Steel University invite you to participate in a course to learn about ESG practices and their relevance in our sector.

ESG practices, which in English refer to Environmental, Social, and Governance, imply a new form of corporate sustainability and address fundamental issues for the sustainable development of organizations and their processes. This approach allows for better socio-environmental management, with transparent actions and policies.

Our industry, which is present in the value chain of virtually all businesses and sectors, has sought to assume a prominent position in the management of these issues.

The course, offered as a distance learning course on the Steel University platform, is organized into 10 hours of classes and four modules: Introduction and ESG Concepts, Environmental Pillar, Social Pillar, and Governance Pillar.

The course includes 12 live masterclasses, with expert participation to discuss the main topics on the ESG agenda in the sector and put theory into practice.
