Sustainability Report 2022-2023

The Latin American Steel Association's 2022/23 Sustainability Report presents the progress and actions taken toward an increasingly sustainable industry, its challenges and opportunities, and promotes environmental, social, and management best practices.

The document illustrates the state of the steel industry in the region, its challenges and opportunities, and includes, for the first time, examples of best practices from Alacero member companies.

The topics addressed were selected based on an analysis of relevant topics for the sector in the region, based on Alacero's Materiality Matrix. It also includes eight sustainability management KPIs and three health and safety indicators.
