From October 6 to 8, the 26th Steel Conference of the Instituto Argentino de Siderurgia (IAS) will take place in the city of Rosario, Santa Fe.
This event is dedicated to the steel industry and aims to share technological updates and scientific advances, as well as to foster networking among peers to disseminate knowledge and exchange experiences. The event will feature keynote speeches and workshops led by experts who will address the prospects and challenges facing the steel industry. There will also be special sessions on Safety, the Environment, and Digital Transformation. Concurrently, the EXPO IAS 2026 will take place, featuring companies that provide services and supplies.
In addition, on Monday, October 5, pre-conference courses will be offered by top-tier instructors who will speak on various topics related to the steel manufacturing process, and on Friday, October 9, there will be a tour of one of the industrial plants (Ternium, ArcelorMittal Acindar, or Gerdau).
